Hey, it's been a while. I haven't posted here in a couple of months so I wanted to give you guys a few updates of what's been going on.
First of all, I have been updating the RPG Scores section for the past few months. I added more scores like Skies of Arcadia, Shin Megami Tensei IV, The Sword of Etheria and others. But the biggest update is that I have added REVIEW links to some RPGs in that section. That's right, you can now just click on the game you want (if it's in blue color with a link) and watch my full video review of it. Now, I have reviewed almost every single RPG in that section in other videos, but they're all in top 10s, top 5s or other lists. My plan is to eventually dedicate a separate video for each. It sounds crazy, considering there's over 500. But I think it's worth it, especially for people wanting to know my opinion of this or that RPG without watching an entire list, like a top 10 for example. So that's in the works for the near future: individual video reviews.
Also, I don't know if you've already noticed (you probably have) but I haven't been streaming as often as before on YouTube. Of course, the Sunday Q&A livestreams are still a thing at 12 p.m. central time, but playing RPGs live is a different thing. As you may already know, I've been streaming on Twitch for about a year and a half now, and have been very active for the past 6-8 months or so. While both platforms are full of issues and anti-streamer policies and algorithms, it's still better for me to stream on Twitch because YouTube livestreams affect their evil algorithm and fucks us over as content creators. Which is exactly the reason why most YouTubers have a second channel dedicated to streaming. As you know, I do have a second channel but since it was literally shadow-banned by YouTube a long time ago, because that's where I upload most of the clips from the Q&A's (some of the things I say are considered as highly offensive, against their precious guidelines), there is little to no point in using it for livestreaming. If I'm barely gonna get any viewers either way, I'd honestly rather do it on Twitch. So please follow me HERE https://www.twitch.tv/ericklandonrpg to keep up with my livestreams. I stream every Tuesday and Friday at around 4 or 5 pm central time, but I also may show up any other day around the same time for an extra weekly stream.
Another update I wanted to give you is what most of you probably also already noticed. I am no longer reviewing new RPGs, just with veeeeeery few exceptions. The reasons why obviously involve the fact that I've 100% lost faith in the gaming industry as nearly every single company has gone woke or is forced to insert DEI nonsense in their games. As a result, I decided to stay away from modern gaming and instead focus more on the INSANE amount of games I have in my backlog, including tons of fan-translated JRPGs. Making content based on that is what I've been doing for a while now. This will continue until DEI and woke agendas are completely gone from gaming (at least from JRPGs). However, if something new comes out and has nothing of that bullshit, then I'll try my best to review it. Just remember that I'm black-listed from the large majority of JRPG publishers so they no longer send review codes to me.
