You may have watched this already, but in case you haven't... I recently reviewed Suikoden 1 and 2, in a comparative form with the originals. These games belong to my favorite videogame series of all time so I felt I had to review them despite my current reluctance of modern games coverage.
Fortunately, I did a lot of research on them before even playing them, to make sure they were modern agenda-free with no DEI bullshit. The results were surprising. I'm still honestly shocked Konami didn't insert political crap in the translations. Especially because they re-did the whole translation of both games to -allegedly- be more faithful to the original Japanese scripts written by Yoshitaka Murayama (RIP). At least they still have some respect for the deceased and his legacy, unlike the evil bastards that are 505 Games.
So if you want to know more, watch the video and elaborate your own conclusion. Whatever the case though, I hope you enjoy it.
