Radiata Stories is the most underrated action JRPG of all time. It's on the PS2, exclusive to it, never been released anywhere else and the proprietor of the IP is none other than Square-Enix. The game was created by tri-Ace, developers of the Star Ocean and Valkyrie Profile series. This one is not as complex or tough as those, but it still retains a certain level of difficulty. It's underrated because reviewers weren't so kind with it when it came out, and even today there are still many detractors giving it low or medium scores. Sure, it's no masterpiece (even though it could've been one) but it's unique, charming, fun, original and with many influences very well implemented. It also stood the test of time, in my opinion. Other underrated action JRPGs I considered for this video were Tales of Legendia, .hack/G.U. trilogy and the mighty Odin Sphere (though this one does have high scores and ratings so it wouldn't make any sense).
